80.0.1 DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR BEFORE YOU GO TO BED ON SATURDAY NIGHT OR YOU WILL BE ONE HOUR LATE FOR EVERYTHING COME SUNDAY. (It's also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke detectors.)

80.0.2 Parker Wheeler's Blues Party, which is held at the Grog in Newburyport on Sundays, is switching back to its later time of 7-11pm.

80.0.3 Jeanne Connolly, a bartender who booked acts at T.T. the Bear's Place in Cambridge, passed away at Youville Hospital in Cambridge on Monday, February 16th. Jeanne had worked at T.T.'s for 27 years, and died of complications from colon cancer. She was 51 years old.

80.0.4 The third CD by Linq (Diane Lincoln) is completed and is titled "Life Goes On." The CD will be released on Tuesday, April 14th. The CD release party will be at Bruce's Browser, 1497 Main Street in Ahtol. There will be no admission, but donations will be appreciated.

80.0.5 Cunhaband from western Mass. has changed their name to ALOTTLE. The band will be playing their first gig under the new name at the Waterfront Tavern in Holyoke on Friday night.

80.0.6 The Click Five have a Saturday night residency at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge for the month of March.
Session Americana continue their Tuesday night residency at the Lizard Lounge.

80.0.7 Tom Bianchi and Friends have a Thursday night residency at TOAD in Cambridge for the month of March.
Avi and Celia have a Tuesday night residency at TOAD for the month of March.

80.0.8 The Boston Herald reports that the world's biggest band, U2, will be playing a super-secret gig for 200 lucky fans at a small sized club in Boston on Wednesday, March 11th. The newspaper reports that a spokesperson for Live Nation denies that it will be at the Paradise Rock Club or the newly opened House of Blues. Tickets to the show, which will feature a Q+A session with the band, are being given away by WAAF/WKAF, WBCN, WBMX, WBOS, and WZLX. Don't worry about trying to win tickets. The show will be broadcast live on both WBCN and WZLX in Boston, and several other broadcast radio stations nationwide. The intimate Boston show is one of three small club shows U2 are doing in support of their latest CD, "No Line on the Horizon." They will be doing one in Los Angeles on Monday and one in Chicago on Tuesday, both of which will also be broadcast live on several radio stations. U2's first American appearance was at the Paradise in Boston as the opener for Noel Redding's band Fat Mattress back in 1980. My guess as to which wenue it will be is FELT on Washington Street, the Regent Theatre in Arlington or The Somerville Theatre, although it would make sense to have it at The Paradise again so that the band could come "full circle", so to speak.
